One of my top 5 favorite projects at National Geographic Kids is this 256-page square trim series that takes a whimsical look at the origins behind things we use or see all the time and seldom know the history of. I had a blast setting the style, designing and creating photo illustrations for the first book, and art directed an out-of-house designer on the sequel, More Surprising Stories Behind Everyday Stuff. Both covers designed by me.
